experiments at a large range of temperatures.

Pressure range :
0 to 2 Mbar (depending on the culet size of the diamonds)
Temperature range :
10 K to 450 K or RT to 450 K.

Full angle apertures 40°/40°

PDAC Biologie pneumatic
Macromolecular crystallography at high pressure

A new pneumatic diamond anvil cell has been constructed, generating continuous pressure and temperature variations in the range 0–2.5 GPa .
The cell is designed mainly for high-pressure macromolecular crystallography and should facilitate pressure and temperature annealing of the sample.
Pressure range : 0 to 0,25 Mbar (depending on the culet size of the diamonds) .
Temperature range : Room temperature to 120°C. (Optional External heat ing 200°C.).
Optical access to sample : Full angle apertures 100°/100°. Working distance ³ 10,3mm (0.41”)
