Membrane Diamond Anvil Cell

ONE EXPERIMENT — ONE CELL

Membrane Diamond Anvil Cell [MDAC]

BETSA® offers a wide range of DACs. Simply because each cell is unique.

At BETSA® there are of course standard DACs that can meet your needs. May it be better that they are designed always having the need for experience.

Here are the characteristics allowing the choice of your DAC.

Explore our range of Diamond Anvil Cells (DACs) offering exceptional capabilities to meet your research and analysis needs under extreme conditions. Here are the characteristics allowing you to choose your DAC:

Pressure

  • Low: 0.02 to 15GPa
  • Medium: 5 to 50 GPa
  • Very high: up to 150 GPa
  • Ultra High: 200 to >400 GPa

Temperature

  • Low temperature: 4K to 450K
  • Room temperature
  • High temperature: above room temperature, up to 1000K continuously (external and/or internal heating)
  • Very high temperature: laser heating

Technique

  • Visible X-ray diffraction – Single crystal – Powder
  • Raman-Infrared
  • Radial diffraction
  • Brillouin X-ray spectroscopy
  • Laser heating
  • Amagnetic

Environment

  • Laboratory or Synchrotron
  • the choice of DAC is made according to the temperature device; cryostat, internal/external resistive, laser source…

Pressure drive

  • Manual pressure using screws: by manual screw and/or gearbox screw
  • Pressure using membrane: membrane and/or screw combined

Our team of experts is here to assist you in selecting the DAC that best fits your specific research and analysis needs. Contact us today to learn more about our products and services.

All our diamond anvil cells are designed, manufactured and produced by the BETSA® company itself.

Find your cell

Tell us the conditions of your experiment. The catalog below narrows down to the cells that meet them.

No cell matches your conditions? Every experiment is different. Go to the bottom of this page and fill in our questionnaire: we design and build custom cells for the configurations our standard range does not cover.
