Motorized filter wheel base fitted on the BETSA® BROT Raman optical transfer
Thorlabs® ELL14 rotator modules assembled for the BROT motorized filter wheel

A motorized filter wheel for the BROT Raman optical transfer

The mechanical filter wheel of the BROT can now be replaced by a motorized wheel driven remotely. Built around Thorlabs® ELL14 / ELL14K Motorized SM1 Optics Rotator modules, it sets the laser attenuation from the control software instead of by hand, without opening or touching the optical head.

Straight through, the beam passes at 100 %. A first stage selects one position at a time — direct, OD 1 or OD 2 — and a second stage adds a continuously variable neutral-density wheel driven over 270°, from OD 0 to OD 1. Together they set the transmission anywhere from 100 % down to OD 3. The driver, the relay board and the power supply are integrated inside the BROT enclosure, behind a dedicated front panel.

This option is under development for the BROT V2.25 and has no commercial reference yet. Contact us to discuss your configuration.

BETSA® Soft PRL v4.00 acquisition window

Software · Soft PRL v4.00

BETSA® Soft PRL v4.00: one software for both spectrometers, and a new pressure regulator window

The two separate builds are gone: a single dual-spectrometer edition now drives the Ocean Optics® HR4000 and the Hamamatsu® C7557-01, detected at start-up and swappable without restarting the software. Version 4.00 also introduces the pressure regulator window for the Druck® PACE5000 E, with live scrolling graphs, recording that can be paused and resumed, CSV export, and control handed back to the instrument front panel in one click.

Eight published pressure scales, five peak-detection methods, temperature correction, uncertainty estimate and hydrostaticity indicator: the complete user manual is available in our reserved area, and licenses now work entirely offline.
