Designed for heated diamond anvil cells

Whether you work with BETSA® cells or another brand, our adapters let you install any diamond anvil cell for high-temperature research, with internal or external heating.

A vacuum chamber protects your diamonds and improves your results: the higher the temperature, the stricter the vacuum has to be to preserve your hardware and guarantee the quality of the experiment.

Overview and compatibility

Engineered to host diamond anvil cells, optimized for BETSA® M-DAC and EHS X-ray setups. Stainless steel 304 body, sandblasted finish, symmetrical 31.5 mm working distance with the 7 mm flange, optical openings of 67° and 73°.

Thermal and vacuum performance

From 20 °C to 1350 °C, compatible with our internal (IHS) and external (EHS) heating systems. O-ring seals, JIS-VG Ø25 mm pumping flange, feedthroughs for helium, Noxal and 1/16″ capillaries.

Connectivity and customization

Fischer connectors with 6 power lines up to 28 A and 6 measurement lines. Windows in BK7 or BaF2, extra viewports, access flanges of 7 or 11 mm, removable furnace support.
